We're physician owned and operated, and we know your needs. At Longwood MRI, you don't have to wait weeks for an appointment. We provide the convenience of same-day service and flexible hours to serve you. We provide service Monday through Friday, 7AM-7PM. We are conveniently located in the heart of Brookline at the intersection of Beacon and Washington Streets. We are within easy access to the Mass Pike and Rte. 9; we are near the Longwood area hospitals; and we are just steps from the Green Line. We have plenty of free parking on site and are handicap accessible.

We know that a medical test can be an intimidating experience. Our goal is to make your stay at Longwood MRI as pleasant as possible. Our receptionist welcomes you with coffee, tea, cappuccino, and other hot drinks in our comfortable waiting room. Our technologists skillfully obtain images from the fastest, quietest, and most open high-field MRI system available today. Our radiologists are on-site to tailor the examination to your specific needs and to answer any questions you may have. Most procedures take less than 30 minutes. The short bore of the scanner ensures that most of your body is outside the magnet during the scan, providing an essentially claustrophobia-free high-field experience. Plus, you get your choice of music. We accept all insurance carriers, and we pre-certify. At Longwood MRI, we are truly devoted to the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Our center features the new state-of-the-art Siemens Avanto system, an ultra-short, wide-bore, 1.5 Tesla magnet that offers the highest quality images in the shortest time possible. The high-powered gradients provide superb image resolution and enable advanced imaging functions such as MR angiography of the head, neck, body and extremities; advanced stroke assessment; cardiac imaging; and full-body scanning.
